Nine nights lodging at 4-star hotels (4 nights in Athens, 2 nights in Volos and 3 nights in Thessaloniki). The hotels will be separate from, but nearby, the student-athletes.

June 28 - July 7, 2025 (Boys & Girls Water Polo)
Participants
This Greece Fan Tour is for fans accompanying athletes on our high school boys water polo tour and high school girls water polo tour.
Fan Tours are open to family members, friends, and supporters of our high school Beyond Sports athletes. (Note: The minimum age to participate in a Fan Tour is 10 years old.)
Accommodations
All Fan Tours are arranged in 4-star hotels. All rooms are Double Occupancy with two single beds. If desired, travelers can upgrade to a Single Occupancy Room,.
Payment
A $250 deposit per person is required to reserve a spot on a Beyond Sports Fan Tour. Additional payments will be paid in a series of installments:

Tour Itinerary
June 27 - Travel Day
If you are traveling from the US, because of time zone differences, you will need to depart from the US the day before the start of your Fan Tour.
June 28 - Athens
Welcome to Athens! Upon your arrival at Athens International Airport (ATH), your tour staff will greet you and escort you to your Fan Tour hotel for check-in. Take some time to relax and refresh after your travels before gathering with the group for a Welcome Dinner to kick off your Greek adventure.
June 29- Athens
Step back in time with a guided tour of Athens’ iconic landmarks, including the Acropolis, Acropolis Museum, and the majestic Parthenon. Spend your afternoon wandering through the charming neighborhoods of Monastiraki and Plaka, where vibrant streets and rich culture await. In the evening, enjoy dinner another group dinner with your Fan Tour cohort.
June 30 - Athens
Set sail for a full-day cruise to the enchanting Saronic Islands! Relax on pristine beaches, explore quaint island shops, and indulge in the region’s famous pistachio treats. With the perfect mix of adventure and tranquility, this day is sure to be a highlight.
July 1 - Athens
Today is yours to explore Athens at your own pace! Whether you choose to dive deeper into the city’s rich history, relax by the hotel pool, or stroll through local markets, the day is yours to enjoy. In the evening, cheer on your athletes as they compete in their first international exhibition game against a local Greek club team!
July 2 - Volos
Depart Athens for the stunning coastal city of Volos, nestled at the base of Mount Pelion and overlooking the sparkling Pagasetic Gulf. After a scenic bus ride, check into your hotel and enjoy a leisurely guided walking tour through town.
July 3 - Volos
Spend the day soaking up the sun on Volos’ beautiful beaches, beloved for their clear waters and relaxing atmosphere. If you prefer to stay in town, feel free to explore the city or enjoy a leisurely afternoon. In the evening, gather to watch Game #2 as your athletes take on another local club team.
July 4 - Thessaloniki
Depart for Thessaloniki, stopping en route in the charming town of Litochoro, perched at the base of legendary Mount Olympus. Enjoy time to explore the town and grab lunch before continuing the journey to Thessaloniki. Settle into your hotel and come together in the evening for a group dinner.
July 5 - Thessaloniki
Experience Thessaloniki like a local with a guided morning walking tour that brings the city’s unique blend of ancient history and modern culture to life. Discover hidden gems, vibrant neighborhoods, and the best local spots to dine and explore. For lunch, immerse yourself in Greek culinary traditions with a hands-on cooking class, savoring the flavors of authentic cuisine. Wrap up the day with Game #3.
July 6 - Thessaloniki
Enjoy your final day in Greece your way! Spend time relaxing at the beach, soaking in the sun, or head to Thessaloniki’s bustling city center for some last-minute souvenir shopping. In the evening, join your athletes for a memorable Farewell Dinner to celebrate an unforgettable journey together.
July 7 - Travel Day
Bid farewell to Greece as you depart from Thessaloniki International Airport (SKG) and begin your journey back to the U.S.A.

Fan Tour FAQ
When is the deadline to register?
The final day to register for a Fan Tour is March 15th, 2025.
Can I stay with my student-athlete at the same hotel?
To enable us to continue providing an independent experience for our student-athletes, our Fan Tour hotels are separate from the student-athletes. All Fan Tour hotels will be within 30 minutes of where are students are staying.
When will I be able to see my student-athlete?
Accompanying fans will be able to see their student-athlete at the exhibition games, as well as during the final celebratory meal on the last night of the tour. We also offer 'Check-Out Time Blocks,' during which you can sign your athlete out of the Athlete Tour to spend time together.
Can I opt out of activities on the itinerary?
Yes, participants may opt out of activities on the itinerary. Please note, any replacement activities are at the expense of the participant.
How will I travel to Greece?
Tour participants are responsible for arranging their own air travel to and from Greece. We provide detailed flight booking instructions in the pre-departure process.
Who will meet me at the airport in Greece?
Our Beyond Sports staff will be waiting for you at the airport in Greece. Once you connect with our team in Greece, our staff will be with you for the duration of the tour.
