SOFTBALL TEAM TRIPS
COSTA RICA
Softball is a growing sport in Costa Rica so the primary focus of our trips is working with the local softball community to develop the sport and increase youth participation. Teams will benefit from additional practice time and a great team-building experience. We'll play at least one game against the Costa Rica National Team to meet NCAA requirements and the rest of games are typically played in a mixed team format.
Excursions
Excursions include zip-lining through the rain-forest, white-water rafting, relaxing in the natural hot springs at the base of Arenal Volcano and visiting world-class beaches on the Pacific Coast!
Service-Learning
We'll work closely with the Costa Rica Softball Federation throughout the trip to maximize the impact our service-learning has on the development of softball in Costa Rica. Collecting and donating used equipment is strongly encouraged!

January pre-season trips are most popular with summer trips also available. We offer a number of different hotel packages for groups ranging from 3-star accommodations to 4 and 5-star resorts.
SOUTH AFRICA
South Africa is our most unique destination offering a once-in-a-lifetime experience to explore one of the most fascinating countries in the world. We have a truly special partner in the Cape Town Softball Association and an incredibly passionate softball community. Competition is available for all college and high school levels.
Excursions
A full menu of bucket list excursion options include safaris, great white shark diving, hiking Table Mountain, and world class beaches. South Africa also offers some amazing cultural sites like the Robben Island tour where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned during the Apartheid Era.
Service-Learning
We'll work closely with the Cape Town Softball Association to provide softball clinics to diverse communities around Cape Town. Softball equipment donations are strongly encouraged!
Trip Details
Cape Town is our home base for softball programs in South Africa. We recommend spending at least 9 days in the country due to the long flight, and because there is just so much to experience in Cape Town!
AUSTRALIA
Excursions
Australia trips include sightseeing opportunities including the famous Sydney Opera house and The Great Ocean Road. You'll see unique wildlife including kangaroos and Koalas. Bucket list experiences like snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef are easy to include in your itinerary!
Service-Learning
The softball clubs we compete against during the trip also have youth teams that operate within their organizations. We'll provide clinics for the younger teams prior to games against the senior teams.

Trip length can range from 9-14 days and will likely include domestic flights within Australia. We offer a number of different hotel packages for groups ranging from 3-star accommodations to 4 and 5 star resorts.
Softball is one of Australia's most popular women's sports and the National Team is ranked 4th in the world! Regional/State teams play in an annual national championships with Open, U23, and U19 classifications. Remember, the southern hemisphere offers great weather in January for pre-season trips!
SPAIN
Beyond Sports hosted our first softball trip to Spain in 2017 and found solid competition and quality facilities. Spain is frequently one of the top teams in the European Softball Championships. Trip dates will determine the availability of National Team or U23 National Team competition.
Excursions
Foreign tours to Spain provide a unique blend of historical and cultural attractions, beautiful white-sand beaches, and the opportunity to visit world-renowned sites in several Spanish cities.

Trip Details
Our standard trips include 3 nights in Madrid, 2 nights on the coast in the port city of Valencia and 3 nights in Barcelona. Spain is a great destination for customizing a trip based on the goals that you have for your team with nearly unlimited options available.
ITALY
Italy and the Netherlands have gone back and forth as the top teams at the European Softball Championships. The local professional league attracts talent from the United States and other softball hotbeds around the world providing plenty of competition for visiting teams in various cities throughout the country.
Excursions
Italy tours offer the opportunity to visit several cities with world famous sightseeing along the way. Visits to Rome and the Coliseum, Lake Como, Tuscany, Pisa, and more are sure to be popular among students as well as families joining the adventure.
