Qualifications

• Ability to commit to your sport’s outlined tour dates listed above

• Current head or assistant college coach in one of the sports listed above

• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills and cross-cultural awareness

• Passion for working with high school students

• International travel experience

• Experience with leadership development

General Responsibilities

• Attend our tour coach training session prior to the trip

• Oversee the delivery of our tour itineraries. Our Tour Coaches play a crucial role in making sure all students are on the same page in regards to where to be and when.

• Lead three leadership sessions (one provided by Beyond Sports, one provided by you modeled after what you might do with your current team, and one college recruiting/college athletics Q&A session)

• Plan and coach practice sessions, which should be run similarly to your college practices

• Coach all exhibition competitions and give specific feedback to each student-athlete

• Ensure the health and safety of all program participants

• Supervise all group excursions

• Develop meaningful connections with program participants

• Help foster an empowering, positive, and inclusive environment

• Use your energy and love for the game to inspire the next generation of athletes to pursue college athletics, continue to grow their personal game, and empower them as leaders.
