SOUTH AFRICA FIELD HOCKEY TOUR
Grant Leslie and
After spending five years developing Beyond's programs in Costa Rica, Program Director and Co-Founder, Grant Leslie, led the charge to expand Beyond programs to South Africa in 2016. After falling in love with the city, history, culture and cuisine of Cape Town, we are thrilled to add Field Hockey to our program offerings.
Nawaal Nacerodien is Beyond’s South Africa Site Director. From her years of working in non-profit sport for development, Nawaal brings a depth of experience and community ties that has helped Beyond grow in Cape Town.
As the popularity of Field Hockey grows in South Africa, Nawaal and Grant are excited to host US players in Cape Town to compete, help develop young players, and explore this amazing city!

INFO FOR PARENTS
Over the last six years of operating international experiences for thousands of college athletes, we've learned that parents typically have two questions:
If you are a parent or family member that would like to come on the tour to South Africa, please fill out the form below. Please understand that we are unable to provide any logistical support to parents traveling independently of the tour.
1) Will my son/daughter be safe while abroad?
2) Can I come?
Our top concern at all times is student safety during our trips. In an effort to help make you as comfortable as possible before and during your student's experience abroad, we encourage you to set up a time to discuss safety with one of our Program Directors. Also, if you'd like to speak with the parent of a past participant, we'd be happy to facilitate that connection.
