A chance for your athletes to not only elevate their game but also discover the world and themselves in ways they never imagined.

We are looking standout leaders and performers in high school girls soccer. All nominees are guaranteed a spot on the tour.

Invitation

All nominees will be connected with a Beyond Sports team member to discuss any questions before deciding if they'd like to take advantage of this opportunity.

3.

Preparation

If a nominee decides to attend, our team will work with the athlete and her family to make sure she is ready to go for the adventure of a lifetime!

Tour Coach

Maddy Ireton

Assistant Women's Soccer Coach | Kenyon College

Ireton is going on her sixth year of coaching collegiate women's soccer. Prior to serving as the assistant at Kenyon College in Ohio, Ireton served as the assistant at Lake Erie College in Pennsylvania. 

Originally from Dublin, Ohio, Ireton played DIII soccer at Wooster College, where she played a critical role in helping the team gain its first-ever NCAC Tournament Championship and its first NCAA Tournament bid since 1996. She also served as a team captain in her senior season and won the Clayton Geib Award for her key contribution athletically and demonstration of strong character, as well as the Maria Sexton Award for her leadership and advocacy for women's athletics.

 

After her career at Wooster, Ireton obtained her master's degree of education in coaching in 2021. She is thrilled to lead the Spain Girls Soccer Tour this summer and share her passions for leadership, soccer, and adventure!

Tour Coach

Megan Jensen

Assistant Women's Soccer Coach | Washington College

Jensen is in her first year as an assistant coach for Washington College in Maryland. Prior to Washington College, she served as a two-year graduate assistant for Muskingum University in Ohio. In addition to collegiate coaching, Jensen has been a coach in the club soccer circuit since 2019.

Jensen played collegiately at North Central College in the Chicago-area, where she served on the team's leadership council and helped the team reach the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Tournament in her junior season.

Jensen studied abroad in Spain in 2018. She is excited to return and share her love for Spain with high school soccer athletes!

Coach FAQs

What is the cost of this tour?​

The program cost is $3995––which includes all meals, all lodging, all programming, and international health insurance.

If cost is prohibitive, we do have fundraising and scholarship resources available to assist students.

What's the value of this experience?

Our high school sports tours unlock confidence in athletes––both on and off the field of play. This is an opportunity for young adults to challenge themselves beyond their comfort zone, meet likeminded peers and mentors, and return home with remarkable memories of adventure!​

Can family travel with my student-athlete?

Yes, family members are welcome to travel with their daughter. We offer a travel package for accompanying family members. 

How many student-athletes can I nominate?

Coaches can nominate up to three student-athletes per team.

If I nominate a student-athlete, are they required to attend?

No, attendance is not required. Once a student is nominated, she'll be connected with one of our tour coordinators to learn more about this program. She and her family will have the opportunity to decide if this is a good fit for her.

What is the right age for this tour?

For this tour, we are enrolling student-athletes in the graduating classes of 2024 through 2026. We are looking for student-athletes in that age range who meet the nomination criteria above.
