SPAIN GIRLS LACROSSE TOUR

Experience the world through lacrosse!

Strengthen your lacrosse skills and experience the best of Spain during our nine-day Girls Lacrosse Tour!

This tour is designed for high school athletes and includes lacrosse training, exhibition games versus local club teams, leadership development, and international adventure. Our tours are led by current US collegiate coaches––who provide students with an insight of playing at the collegiate level, as well as share their experience with what it takes to be a team leader.

Lacrosse Tour Details

Destination: Spain

Length: Nine days, eight nights

Dates: July 2024

Participants:

This tour is designed for high school girls lacrosse athletes in the graduating classes of 2024 through 2026.

Tour Coach:

Katie Russo, Head Women's Lacrosse Coach at Goucher College, will travel with and coach our 2024 tour athletes. Learn more about Coach Russo below.

Roster Size:

This tour is capped at 24 student-athletes and will be divided up into two rosters of 12. All participants will receive equal playing time.

Tour Inclusions:​

 

  • Eight nights of accommodations (four nights in Barcelona, four nights in Valencia) and three meals per day​

  • Six lacrosse development sessions––this includes three practices led by US collegiate coaches and three exhibition games against local Spanish clubs teams​

  • Three athlete-centered leadership development workshops and a minimum of one service-learning activity

  • Visits to La Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, Camp Nou, and the City of Arts & Science

  • 24/7 Beyond Sports staff accompaniment

  • International health insurance

Katie Russo

Head Women's Lacrosse Coach | Goucher College

Russo is in her eighth year of collegiate lacrosse coaching. She was a four-year starter and captain for the Randolph-Macon College––tallying 89 goals and 66 assists for 155 points. Russo started as the head coach at Goucher College in November 2022. Prior to Goucher College, Russo served as the head coach at Eastern Mennonite where she helped the team achieve it's first winning season.

Russo is excited to share her passions for lacrosse, youth mentorship, and adventure with our Spain Girls Lacrosse Tour participants this summer!
