Strengthen your basketball skills and experience the best of Spain during our nine-day Girls Basketball Tour!

This tour is designed for high school athletes and includes basketball training, exhibition games versus local club teams, leadership development, and international adventure. Our tours are led by current US collegiate coaches––who provide students with an insight of playing at the collegiate level, as well as share their experience with what it takes to be a team leader.

Peg Swadener

Head Women's Basketball Coach | Willamette University

Swadener is in her 12th year as the head coach at Williamette University. During her time at Williamette, Swadener has tuned the Bearcat program into a top Northwest Conference contender. Prior to Williamette, she served as the associate head coach at Division I Portland State University. Swadener also spent time assisting other Division I programs including Boise State University, Idaho State University, University of Oregon and Princeton University. This will be Coach Swadener's fourth Beyond Sports basketball tour.

Swadener is excited to share her passions for basketball, youth mentorship, and adventure with our Spain Girls Basketball Tour participants this summer!

Grace Barry

Assistant Women's Basketball Coach | Willamette University

Barry is in her second year as an assistant coach at Willamette University. Barry played basketball at Concordia University. She helped Concordia win the NAIA Division II National Championship in 2018-19, when she also earned First Team All-National Tournament honors and was chosen National Tournament MVP. She was selected Second Team All-Great Plains Athletic Conference in 2018-19 and was named First Team All-GPAC in 2019-20. She earned NAIA All-America recognition in 2019-20, when she also was the CoSIDA NAIA Academic All-American-of-the-Year for all sports. She scored more than 1,000 career points while playing at Concordia

Barry traveled with Beyond Sports on the 2023 Women's Basketball Tour to Spain and is looking forward to sharing passion for basketball with high school student-athletes this summer!
