ITALY BASKETBALL TOUR
Day 1: Depart from your preferred Hub Airport with the group (JFK, ATL, or LAX). The group will be accompanied by tour coaches and Beyond Sports staff for the duration of the tour.
Day 2: Arrive to Rome in the morning. Hotel check-in and free time in the afternoon before an evening practice. Welcome dinner to follow.
Day 3: Vatican City Tour in the morning (Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's Basilica, and museum). Free time in the afternoon to explore Rome independently. Game #1 in the evening!
Day 4: Guided tour of Rome in the morning to see Trevi's Fountain, Spanish Steps, Navona Square, and a visit inside the Coliseum! In the afternoon, we'll depart for Montecatini Terme for three nights in the Tuscany region.
Day 5: Guided city tour of Florence. Explore the capital of the Tuscany region and the birthplace of the Renaissance, including Palazzo Vecchio and the Cathedral of Santa Maria. Game #2 in the evening!
Day 6: Early morning departure for Venice; The Floating City! We'll take a private boat to the city center for a guided tour, followed by free time to explore independently. Hotel check-in and dinner in Mestre in the evening.
Day 7: Morning departure for Lake Como and the Lombardy region. Along the way, we'll stop in Milan for a city tour and free-time. Arrive to Lake Como in the evening, followed by dinner.
Day 8: Enjoy a boat tour on Lake Como, including a visit to Bellagio; known as the "Pearl of the Lake", this village of century-old buildings and stone lanes is the perfect place to soak up Lake Como's famous panorama! Game #3 in the evening!
Day 9: Free day to enjoy Lake Como at your leisure; activities like food tasting, kayaking, and biking are available. Farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 10: Transfer to airport and depart for the U.S. Departures are from either LIN or MXP airports, depending on your final destination.

Over the last eight years of operating international experiences for thousands of college athletes, we've learned that parents typically have two questions:
1) Will my son/daughter be safe while abroad?
2) Can I come?
Our top concern at all times is student safety during our trips. In an effort to help make you as comfortable as possible before and during your student's experience abroad, we encourage you to set up a time to discuss safety with one of our Program Directors. Also, if you'd like to speak with the parent of a past participant, we'd be happy to facilitate that connection.
