Tour Itinerary
Day 1:
Arrival day! Arrive to Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) in San Jose, Costa Rica. You will be welcomed by Beyond Sports staff and shuttled to our hotel accommodations. Overnight in San Jose.
Day 2:
Morning trip orientation and practice session. Afternoon community service activity coaching local youth before Game #1 in the evening! Overnight in San Jose.
Day 3:
Morning tour of downtown San Jose; visiting the National Church, National Theater and artisan's market for souvenirs. Afternoon community service activity at local public school in San Jose before Game #2 in the evening! Overnight in San Jose.
Day 4:
Morning departure for Arenal Volcano! Spend the morning zip-lining through the rainforest canopy and over 100-foot waterfalls! The evening will be spent at Baldi Resort and Hot Springs enjoying an all-you-can-eat buffet and 25 natural mineral water hot springs! Overnight in La Fortuna.
Day 5:
Morning free time to explore the beautiful town of La Fortuna at the base of Arenal Volcano before returning to San Jose in the afternoon. Game #3 in the evening against a local university team! Overnight in San Jose.
Day 6:
Morning departure for Hotel Punta Leona on the Pacific Coast! We will stop at Tarcoles River and the famous 'crocodile bridge' for pictures before arriving to the beach. Afternoon beach soccer tournament before enjoying a team dinner overlooking the Pacific Ocean!
Day 7:
Leisure day to enjoy the beaches and pool area of Hotel Punta Leona. You will have the opportunity to see toucans, monkeys and sloths while exploring the adjacent 750 acre wildlife refuge. Afternoon trip to the nearby beach town of Jaco for optional surf lessons!
Day 8:
Morning at the beach before returning to San Jose in the afternoon for our final community service activity working with local youth. Farewell dinner and salsa dance class in the evening!
Day 9:
Departure day! Depart Costa Rica with memories and friendships that will last a lifetime!
Please understand that the final itinerary may change slightly based on the confirmed game schedule. We will do our best to follow this exact itinerary.

If you received an invitation from your coach you can accept your invite to begin registration. If you did not receive an invite, but you are interested in joining the tour, please complete our program application.

3. Deposit
When you are ready to commit to the Costa Rica Soccer Tour, submit your $500 deposit to reserve your spot. The full cost of the tour is not due immediately. The payment plan options are outlined in registration. We encourage all students who do not have a valid passport to apply for a passport as soon as possible!

Honestly the whole tour was perfect! You get to go on adventures and meet friends that you will have for life. You get to make an impact on kids' lives and they will remember it forever.
