PAYMENT
A $250 deposit is required to reserve your spot for the tour. The remaining balance is paid in a series of installments.
The deposit deadline is February 1st, 2023.
ACCOMMODATIONS
All hotel stays are in 4-star hotels. Participants will share a room with another traveler, however, every participant will have their own bed.

Tour Itinerary
DAY 1
Departure day! Depart from Hub Airport (LAX) with tour coaches and Beyond Sports staff on international flight to Australia.
DAY 2
Travel day! (We lose one day crossing the International Date Line.)
DAY 3
Arrival at Melbourne Airport. Students are shuttled to the hotel for check-in followed by an orientation session, first team practice, and a welcome dinner. Melbourne has been ranked one of the world's most livable cities for the last 8 years! Overnight in Melbourne.
DAY 4
Practice #2 in the morning. Spend the afternoon exploring the famous Queen Victoria Market, the largest open-air market in the Southern Hemisphere! Game #1 in the evening. Overnight in Melbourne.
DAY 5
Day trip along the Great Ocean Road! This Australian National Heritage offers breathtaking views along a rugged coastline. We'll go as far as Port Campbell National Park for an amazing photo op at the 12 Apostles. Overnight in Melbourne.
DAY 6
Morning river cruise through Melbourne on the Yarra River. Afternoon free time before Game #2 in the evening.
DAY 7
We'll load the bus to visit some of the iconic areas of Melbourne. Stops include the vibrant beach scene of St. Kilda and the charming coastal town of Brighton. Overnight in Melbourne.
DAY 8
Morning trip to Healesville Sanctuary Zoo to experience local Australia wildlife including koalas! Our guides will recommend activities for afternoon free time. The world famous Melbourne Zoo is always a popular choice! Game #3 in the evening. Overnight in Melbourne.
DAY 9
We'll fly from Melbourne to Sydney. After checking into our hotel, enjoy some free time to explore Darling Harbour before dinner. Overnight in Sydney.
DAY 10
As a group, we'll tour the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. The most adventurous among us can sign up for the Harbour Bridge Climb, where you will walk the upper structures of the bridge taking in spectacular views while securely connected to the structure by harness and climbing ropes. Overnight in Sydney.
DAY 11
Enjoy the famous Bondi to Coogee Beach walk. Keep your eyes on the water, this is peak whale season! We'll enjoy a special farewell dinner in the evening recounting our favorite memories from the trip. Overnight in Sydney.
DAY 12
Say our goodbyes as we head to Sydney International Airport for a full day of travel back to the U.S.A.

Accept Your Invitation
If you received an invitation from your coach you can accept your invite to begin registration. If you did not receive an invite, but you are interested in joining the tour, please complete our program application.

Register & Deposit
When you are ready to commit to the tour, submit your $500 deposit to reserve your spot. The full cost of the tour is not due immediately. Payment deadlines are outlined in registration.
3.
Begin Travel Prep
Once deposited, your tour coordinator will connect with you to share pre-departure information. We encourage all students who do not have a valid passport to apply for a passport as soon as possible!

Australia Women's Lacrosse
Not many people can say they traveled to Australia let alone play a sport that they love! I was able to meet so many amazing girls during this trip which made it that much more enjoyable and I had the chance to play lacrosse in Australia which many people would never do! I was so nervous and afraid but when I thought about it, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I have some of the best memories from this trip and I would do it all over again if I could.

How was I selected for this tour?
Tour invite lists are a completive selection process. We select conference statistical leaders, all-conference honorees, and coach recommendations.
Who will be my tour coach?
Beyond Sports is proud of our incredible network of college coaches that join our international trips as tour coaches! All tour coaches are current college coaches and will be announced in Spring 2023.
How will I travel to Australia?
Tour participants are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) where we will travel as a group to Italy. International airfare is arranged by Beyond. Final travel itineraries are shared with tour participants 6-8 weeks before departure.
Though international airfare is included in your tour cost, you have the option to opt out and arrange your own airfare to and from Australia. If you choose to arrange your own travel, we will apply a $800 discount to your program total.
Can a family member or teammate travel with me?
